Meet Tau. He's trained to sniff out explosives.
Beverly Hills has a new four-legged crime fighter on the beat -- a Belgian Malinois named Tau.
The dog, similar to a German shepherd, just completed a five-week training course with his human partner, Officer Kevin Orth, according to Beverly Hills police.
Tau is trained to sniff out explosives, among other things.

Tau and his training is being paid for in part with donations from philanthropist Erika Glazer, daughter of mall developer Guilford Glazer. She has helped the department financially with three police dogs.
