If you live near Simon Cowell's house in Beverly Hills (which he's also listed), you may have noticed a message affixed underneath "STOP" stating "making stupid people famous."

Los Angeles-based street artist Plastic Jesus altered several stop signs around the county last week, according to Starpulse and the artist's Facebook page.

Plastic Jesus specializes in bold stencil and installation work, according to his website. His work "combines humour, irony, criticism and unique opinion to create art that engages on many levels."

Have you seen these altered stop signs around L.A.?

This sort of thing makes L.A. what it is.

Per the "art" on the STOP sign, I might say the same thing to Matthew and The Patch
