Rite Aid Plans to Offer Free Skin Cancer Screenings

The effort is part of a weekend event to raise awareness about skin cancer.

Rite Aid is joining forces with the Skin Cancer Foundation to provide free screenings this weekend to Beverly Hills residents.

It is all part of the annual "Road to Healthy Skin Tour."

During the free event, participants can receive full-body skin exams while also learning life-saving information about how to protect themselves from skin cancer.

The exams are done on a first-come, first-served basis in a bus equipped with screening rooms that will be parked in the parking lot of Rite Aid.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, at Rite Aid at 300 North Canon Drive.
