1.  FOURTH ANNUAL "GOBBLE WOBBLE"
Where/When: Emerson Reed Park; 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday
Why go:  Grab the whole clan to sweat off those extra helpings of mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie at this fun-filled event. There will be a 5K walk (and a 1K walk for the wee ones), costume contests, balloon animals, face painting, and more.

2. BOOK DRIVE TO BENEFIT UPWARD BOUND HOUSE
Where/When: California Pizza Kitchen; all day Tuesday and Wednesday
Why go: Children’s book author Megan Worthy and her daughter, Bronte, are collecting books for Santa Monica-based Upward Bound House, which provides transitional housing for homeless families. Guests who donate a book will receive a free “small plate” food item with a $15 purchase.

3.  HAMLET AT THE BROAD
Where/When: The Broad Stage; 7:30 p.m. Monday, Friday and Saturday; 2 p.m. Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday

4. GEEKS WHO DRINK PUB QUIZ

Where/When: O’Brien’s Irish Pub & Restaurant; 9-11 p.m. nightly Thursday through Nov. 29
Why go: Display your dazzling knowledge of 90’s sitcom theme songs at this trivia event where the more obscure your pop culture knowledge, the more likely you are to score free drinks and prizes!
