Locals Will Participate in Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival

The event is scheduled to kick off on Thursday.

The Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival is coming to Beverly Hills this week.

The third annual event will feature fine dining, entertainment and fare from celebrity chefs.

While many of the events will take place downtown, two, local restaurants, Livello at L'Ermitage Beverly Hills and nearby Hinoki & The Bird, are also scheduled to be part of the festivities.

Both locations will feature a four-course lunch. Ticket prices are $125.

Hinoki & The Bird will also feature a live demonstration of hand-crafted cocktails by Chris Hopkins, a mixologist from The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. San Francisco chef Charles Phan will also work alongside chefs David Myers and Kuniko Yagi during the event.

Guest chefs George Mendes and Richard Reddington, along with Chef Benjamin Dayag, will please palates at L'Ermitage Beverly Hills.

Both events will begin at noon on Friday, Aug. 23.

The festival is scheduled to place from Thursday, Aug. 22, through Sunday, Aug. 25.
