Five Things: National Cheesecake Day and More

Here are five things residents of Beverly Hills need to know today.

1. The Beverly Hills Public Library will host "Terrific Tuesdays," a free children’s program at 3:45 p.m. featuring the musical group, Beat Buds.

2. The Liaison Committee of the Beverly Hills City Council and some Recreation and Parks Commission members will hold a special meeting at 9 a.m. at City Hall to discuss Gateway Design options and Roxbury Park site improvements, among other topics.

3. Tuesday is National Cheesecake Day, and in honor of the occasion, the Cheesecake Factory is offering half-price slices of any flavor of cheesecake all day long. Stop by the Cheesecake Factory at 364 North Beverly Drive to get your slice.

4. There will be a "Business after Dark" networking event for professionals in Beverly Hills at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, at the Rooftop at Montage Beverly Hills at 225 North Canon Drive. To register in advance, click here.
