Five Things: A Taste of Wine Country and More

Here are five things residents of Beverly Hills need to know today.

1. Bar Nineteen12's Live Music Series at the Beverly Hills Hotel will feature performances by Jake Simpson beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday.

2. "Indulge" at Carson House Beverly Hills will offer a taste of wine country and appetizers from Chef Johnny Messina’s from the Conga Room. It is scheduled to take place at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 3, at 8635 Wilshire Blvd., and reservations should be made in advance.

3. Temperatures are expected to reach 77, according to the National Weather Service.
