Family Event at New Sylvan Learning Center in Beverly Hills, CA
On May 19, 2012, the Sylvan Learning center of Beverly Hills, CA has planned a fun, interactive family event from 10am-2 pm at the reopening of the center. This is an open house, free to the public that will include entertainment, educational demonstrations and raffle prizes.
During the open house, Sylvan will host a suite of educational demonstrations. This includes Fit4Algebra, which is a free, online Algebra readiness check-up to help parents determine if their children are ready for algebra. Sylvan will also demonstrate SylvanMathPrep.com, an online math homework helper. Additional demos will include Book Adventure, a free reading motivation program and free assessments for all potential news students.

Additional activities at the event will include face painting, magic show, and a raffle for teachers from local schools. Attending teachers will be entered into a drawing for a ‘Class Sponsorship’ which will include $250 worth of classroom supplies. Raffles for participating families will include free SAT classes and 8 hours of free homework support. There will be a reception for all guests including a grand prize of an iPad**.
