City to Hold Workshop on Single Family Home Development Standards

Comments to be forwarded to the Beverly Hills City Council and the Planning Commission for consideration at future public hearings.

The city of Beverly Hills will host a community workshop on Oct. 24 to discuss recommendations regarding standards for single-family homes that would reduce the appearance of excessive size and bulk.

The meeting will be held from at 6 to 9 p.m. in the Municipal Gallery at City Hall.

Homeowners, development professionals or anyone interested in the proposed recommendations are encouraged to attend. Comments at the meeting will be forwarded to the City Council and the Planning Commission for consideration at future public hearings.

The proposed changes would apply to the central area of the city. This includes all single-family homes except in the Trousdale and Hillside areas.

For exact boundaries, view the map on the city’s website: www.beverlyhills.org/centralr1study.

If you have and questions prior to the meeting, please call (310) 285-1135.
