City Recognizes Four Centenarians

Beverly Hills celebrates its eldest residents prior to its 100 year anniversary.

As part of the Beverly Hills' centennial celebration, the city honors all residents, past or present, who are at least 100 years old in 2014.

On Tuesday the City Council celebrated four individuals who have reached the milestone.

In the photograph from the left are Walter J. Freedman, 100; Charlotte Rubin, 104; Councilmember Nancy Krasne; Mayor John Mirisch; Councilmember Julian Gold MD; Elly Newton, 100; Vice Mayor Lili Bosse; Mary Goldberg, 106; and Councilmember William W. Brien, MD.
