CERT Training in Beverly Hills Starts Next Week

Four free classes in disaster preparedness and first aid begin Feb. 6.

The following is a press release from the city of Beverly Hills.

Are you a Beverly Hills resident interested in learning how to care for yourself, your family and your neighbors during an emergency or disaster situation? Then register for the free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training course. 

Training includes:

  • Disaster preparedness
  • Fire safety
  • Disaster medical and first aid
  • Search and rescue
  • Disaster psychology and team organization 

Training dates:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 6, 6-9 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 9, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 23, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 2, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Only those who attend all four training classes may be considered a CERT graduate. Make-up classes will not be offered.
