Join the at the Neighborhood Watch kickoff block party. It’s the first of a series of block parties that the Neighborhood Watch program is hosting throughout the city as a way to educate residents on safety-related issues. This time there will be a special presentation on crime prevention and how to protect oneself against current crime trends.

2) A Night of a Thousand Stars
If you’re a Beverly Hills dad, why not take some time this Valentine’s Weekend to spend an evening with your leading little lady? Fathers and daughters—in the first through fifth grades—are invited to share "A Night of a Thousand Stars" at the historic . 4) Photograph Nature at Franklin Canyon Park
Sunday’s forecast calls for sunny weather, so take a hike in with Joanne, a volunteer naturalist and experienced photographer, as she teaches you the tricks of nature photography during a two-hour trek through the scenic space. Bring your camera, some water, wear comfortable shoes and be sure to leave Fido at home.

5) A V-Day to Remember
