Beverly Hills to Commemorate Sept. 11 Anniversary Tuesday Evening

A ceremony is taking place at 7:30 p.m. at the city's 9/11 Memorial Garden. The public is invited to attend.

Beverly Hills will commemorate the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks with a wreath ceremony and musical performance Tuesday evening at the city's .

The event starts at 7:30 p.m. at 445 N. Rexford drive. The garden, situated at the northwest corner of North Rexford Drive and Burton Way, features a from the World Trade Center.

Speakers at the ceremony will include Assemblyman Mike Feuer and . Singer Chris Mann of The Voice will perform.

North Rexford Drive will be closed in front of . Parking is available in the City Library lot (enter through the Civic Center Drive entrance) or the .

Due to the special event, the City Council study session has been moved up to 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the formal meeting taking place at 4 p.m.
