Beverly Hills and Cedars-Sinai to Co-Sponsor Senior Health Education Talk Oct. 15

Come to the Roxbury Park Community Center for a discussion on osteoporosis.

Monday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to noon, the city of Beverly Hills' Community Services Department and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center are sponsoring a free lecture titled "Osteoporosis: The Bad and the Ugly."

The talk is offered as part of the Cedars-Sinai Senior Health Education lecture series. It will take place at the Roxbury Park Community Center, located at 471 S. Roxbury Drive.

Kristi Butenschoen, RN, MSN, FNP-BC—a nurse practitioner in interventional radiology at the S. Mark Taper Imaging Center—will hold an informative session on the risk factors, diagnoses, treatment and prevention of osteoporosis.
