AUDIO: Hear Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Ask His Girlfriend Not Be Seen with Black People

"It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you’re associating with black people. Do you have to?"

In the midst of a very successful season, Clippers owner Donald Sterling is attracting attention for a completely different reason: an audio tape in which he chastises his girlfriend for posting an Instagram photo of herself with an African-American ... Magic Johnson.

Ironically, the girlfriend, V. Stiviano, is Hispanic and African-American. Sterling tells her it's OK to hang out with family or other people of color, privately.

He also tells her not to bring Magic Johnson to a Clippers game.

TMZ first published the audio (heard above). It reports it was recorded during an April 9 discussion between the two.

Sterling is a Beverly Hills resident and runs an office out of Beverly Hills as well.

This is being broadcast as if this is the first time anyone has ever heard, seen, or been subject to this sort of talk. Money talks louder than print. Sterling is perfect example. And for those saying, 'she should just leave', well, the money is what keeps her around, no matter what her ethnic background. Money is what she is selling her soul for...Where should she go? And why? Do you really believe that old man is attractive to her or any other young lady? It's the money. We would all like to have it, but it is not the only answer to happiness.

A true racist would not have a black man as coach.

Bull---t, Joel Cooper. Sterling has a black man as a coach because that black man is making money for Sterling. Sterling is a racist, 100% pure racist, and it seems the friends he says are calling him about her Instagram postings are the KKK. Good riddance to Sterling. I hope Magic Johnson buys the Clippers and flips off Sterling at every future game.
