March Madness veteran and Wake Forest University legend, Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers, has taken a time-out from the courts to assist in the spotlight on the set of “My Life As A Dad” with anexclusive interview about being a father. Thegroundbreaking web series is designed for dads at all stages – expectant, new, active and experienced – and offers inspiring interviews with professional athlete and celebrity dads.

Making 5,967 assists in his professional career to date, the Los Angeles Clippers superstar became a legend at Wake Forest University nearly a decade ago, leading Wake Forest to its first-ever No. 1 ranking and winning Rookie of the Year, First-Team All-American and All-ACC Defensive honors. While “CP3’s” No. 3 Wake Forest University jersey may be retired, his career as a father is just getting started.

From assisting on the courts to assisting in the playroom, the new and active father of two opens up to “Daddy Expert” Robert ‘Daddy’ Nickell about the emotions that he and his wife experienced when they were expecting their son. “You definitely have to take deep breaths, and you have to understand what’s taking place,” Paul said. “She’s the one that’s experiencing all the body changes, but it’s an experience for the husband, too.”

Though intense on the courts, seven time NBA All-Star point guard Paul gets vulnerable in this special interview, exposing his parenting philosophies and slam-dunk insights into fatherhood as well as lessons learned on his journey as a dad.

Under the production and direction of acclaimed filmmaker Tommy Reid of the independent hit film "Kill the Irishman" and the 2014 Annie-Award-winning documentary "I Know That Voice," "My Life As A Dad" aims to reach the projected 70 million-plus dads in the U.S. Robert ‘Daddy’ Nickell, executive producer and host of “My Life As A Dad,” is the father of seven, author of hundreds of syndicated articles read across North America and the founder of Daddy & Company, the perfect gifts for Dad, home of his renowned ‘Daddy Scrubs.’

“While millions of men across the country look up to celebrities and pro athletes, such as Chris Paul, they rarely get to see how incredible these men are at being dads,” Nickell said. “This show gives dads a chance to learn these big-timers’ fathering techniques and hear their hilarious, yet heart-warming, stories about how they handle being in the spotlight and raising a family, just like everyone else.”

Nickell said the show was created to fill the void in support and guidance material for fathers. March’s guests include Eric Christian Olsen of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” Jose Rene “J.R.” Martinez of “Dancing with the Stars” and “All My Children,” Alimi Ballard of CBS drama “Numb3rs,” AJ Calloway, "Extra" correspondent, Kevin Frazier, co-host of "The Insider," Delanie Walker, NFL player, and actor Shadoe Stevens.
