What's Up: Design Show House at Greystone Mansion, SM Blvd. Project Outreach

Here are five things to know in Beverly Hills today.

1. Design House International, in collaboration with the Friends of Greystone and the City of Beverly Hills, presents a world class design show house from 10 a.m.to 3 p.m., from Thursday, Nov. 7 through Sunday Nov. 10. Click here for more information.

2. The Traffic and Parking Commission meets at 7 a.m. at City Hall. Click here for more information.

3. The City of Beverly Hills will break ground on the Santa Monica Boulevard Reconstruction Project in the spring of 2015. It involves repaving the road, upgrading the century-old drainage system and other much-needed street improvements along the entire stretch within Beverly Hills. There's a public outreach meeting at 6 p.m. in the library's second floor. Click here for more information.

4. The Design Review Commission meets at 1:30 p.m. at City Hall. Click here for more information.

5. Relax in the early morning as Franklin Canyon wakes up for the day on a peaceful walk and quiet meditation. Meet at Sooky Goldman Nature Center at 9 a.m. and click here for more information.
