3. Beverly Hills' Church of the Good Shepherd will be celebrating its 90th Anniversary Thursday at 7:30 p.m. with an annual Mariachi Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The only Catholic church in Beverly Hills, this landmark church was the setting for the 1954 film “A Star Is Born” starring Judy Garland and holds a prominent place in the city's ties to the entertainment industry.
