Khalili's sister, Bianca, died in 2008 after she fell from a Century City high-rise, as reported in the Los Angeles Times. Bianca, a 17-year-old BHHS senior, was involved in a heated argument with a classmate over a boy just moments before her death, which was ruled a suicide. Despite the ruling, rumors of foul play have circulated among the Westside Persian Jewish community, according to the Times.
A comment posted at 6:06 p.m. on Friday on the Facebook page "Rest in Paradise Bianca Khalili" noted the dual tragedy of the Khalili siblings' deaths: "you and your bro.. wow. i'm so sorry. at least you guys are together now." [sic]
